The spot is located in a shopping center, so there’s plenty of parking, but getting in and out is a challenge — that area stays congested and tight during peak hours. I called ahead and ordered the steak & shrimp sub with everything on it, plus a 5-piece lemon pepper wings combo. The quoted wait time was 15 minutes, which matched my drive perfectly. This is a no-frills, carry-out style joint — so don’t walk in expecting trendy decor or cozy seating. It’s straightforward: place your order, grab your bag, and keep it moving. Staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated the extra touches — confirming my name, asking if I wanted ranch or blue cheese (I went with ranch), and offering mumbo sauce (of course I said yes). Let’s break it down: The wings were the star — crispy, juicy, and packed with lemon pepper flavor. Definitely something I’d order again. The fries were solid, especially after I dressed them up with pepper, Cajun seasoning, and dipped them in that sweet-style mumbo sauce. The sub looked promising but missed the mark. The bread was soggy, and while the steak and shrimp were seasoned well, they used tiny salad shrimp that got lost in all the toppings. I ordered it with everything (mustard, ketchup, mayo, pickles, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, mushrooms), and it was just too chaotic flavor-wise. I ended up picking out the filling and tossing the bread. Total: $21.19 Would I go back? Yes — but only for the wings and maybe to give the smash burger a try. “ I came here after spending the entire day at a book fest at the national harbor and I was so so hungry. All I wanted was some burgers and fries and felt this was the perfect place. I did the burger and wings combination for $19 which also comes with fries and a drink. The food was okay now I had to wait until I got home to eat and had to reheat everything and I felt like something was missing or it didn’t hit as strong as it should. I was just underwhelmed. Now granted it was reheated but sometimes the best food takes even better later. The wings were good and tasteful but I wasn’t getting a strong jerk flavor from my wings at all to call them honey jerk wings. Both my burger and fries needed just a little bit more salt. However their homemade lemonade which is sooooo good! Other than that the service was great. The guys were so nice and attentive to help me immediately. They even gave me recommendation on what to order and what sauces to get it. It was good but some improvements can be made. I honestly would come back for sure ”

“ I absolutely love coming here. My family and I frequent here often and can definitely say this is a staple of a place for us to come and eat. I love their smashburger and their catfish. The wings are great and definitely nice and hot when you order them. The sweet tea and the lemonade are both delicious and to me personally taste delicious mixed together. Everything I will say is mouth watering and worth going back on a repeated schedule. The location is very convenient. There is plenty of parking and seating if you want to sit in and eat or just to sit and wait for your food. The customer service is amazing and that's a huge plus for me. The food here is worth it if you ask me. The prices are great as well. You can truly enjoy a full meal and be full especially off the Simgle Smashburger which is huge. One of my favorites are the Yellow Rice. I love it. There is plenty to choose from and to enjoy! ”
